Delete your account in the app
- Open the Halfcourt app and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab and tap the settings icon.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by signing in again, then tap Delete.
You can't delete your account while you're in a game that hasn't finished. Finish or cancel the game first.
Can't use the app?
Email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you. Include your username so we can find the right account.
What happens next
Your account is closed straight away. You're signed out, you stop receiving notifications, and other players can no longer see your profile. Your personal data is permanently deleted 30 days later. There's currently no way to restore an account once it's been deleted.
What we delete
- Your name, username, email address and sign-in details
- Your profile picture and profile details, including date of birth, gender and height
- Your notifications and device push tokens
- Notes you wrote when rating players or venues, and photos you added to venue reviews
- Your saved payment details, which are held by our payment provider, Stripe
What we keep
Some records are kept after deletion, with your name and contact details removed so they no longer identify you:
- Game results, scores, ratings and BPI history, so other players' records stay accurate
- Payment and booking records, kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require
- Reports made by or about you, kept for player safety
Crash reports sent to our error-monitoring service are deleted automatically within 90 days.
